Het is crisis, financieel maar ook nog steeds ecologisch.

Het is tijd voor actie, en ook reactie. Van u en ik, en van de politici, zowel op europees vlak, landelijk als lokaal. Deze clip heb je misschien al elders gezien, of ook niet. In elk geval kan je hem NU bekijken.

Ook Groen! Lochristi werkt intussen verder aan een klimaatplan voor de gemeente.

Dear Americans

Thank you for not electing your grandfather as president, for making history by electing a first black president. I do respect McCain for his courage and perceverance. As well as his honesty after loosing, something the world started to believe republicans were not capable of any more. It raises my beliefs in democracy again.

Barack, My congratulations. You are for me the best choice. For the USA, as well as the world. Maybe not for Europe economically, but I am first of all a human living on our planet. I realize you are standing in front of huge challenges. A world wide recession is standing at our front door. This started in the US, I now can believe that it can be solved from the US too. Global warming is at least at the same level, a threat for humanity and every living species on our small planet. You at least have the intention to react, I hope to see this reflected in all your decisions.

My faith in Americans is after 8 years restored. God bless yall.
